AI Cleanup is an iOS utility provided by CODING APPLICATION. The app analyzes personal content on your device and lets you decide what to organize, compress or remove. This policy explains the information the app accesses, how it is used and the choices available to you.
01 — SCOPE
Information covered by this policy
This policy applies to the AI Cleanup iOS app and this website. It covers information accessed through Apple system permissions, information received from Google APIs when you connect Gmail, and information you voluntarily send to support.
02 — ON-DEVICE FEATURES
Photos, videos and personal organization data
With your permission, AI Cleanup may access photos and videos, contacts, calendars and reminders to provide cleanup features you initiate. The app may analyze media similarity, quality, file size, date, duplicate contact fields, and expired calendar or reminder status.
This analysis occurs on your device. AI Cleanup does not upload this content to a CODING APPLICATION server. Changes occur only after an action you take and remain subject to the recovery behavior provided by iOS and the relevant system app.
Items placed in the app's private vault are stored on your device and can be protected using security options you enable, such as Face ID.
03 — GOOGLE USER DATA
Gmail access, use and storage
Connecting Gmail is optional and uses Google OAuth. AI Cleanup never receives your Google password.
The app accesses your Google account email address and limited Gmail message metadata—message identifiers, labels or categories, Subject, From, List-Unsubscribe header, internal date and estimated size—to show Spam, Promotions and messages older than 90 days. It does not load email bodies or attachments and does not compose or send email.
When you select messages and confirm cleanup, AI Cleanup moves those messages to Gmail Trash. It does not permanently delete messages. Gmail data is transferred directly between Google APIs and your iPhone over HTTPS and is not received or stored by an AI Cleanup backend. OAuth tokens are stored locally in the iOS Keychain and deleted from the app when you sign out.
AI Cleanup's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Read the dedicated Gmail Data Use disclosure for complete details.
04 — SUPPORT & WEBSITE
Information you provide directly
If you email support, we receive the address you use and the information you include. We use it to respond, investigate the issue and maintain support records as reasonably necessary.
This informational website does not require an account and does not request access to Gmail. A hosting provider may process basic technical logs for delivery, reliability and security.
06 — SECURITY & RETENTION
Protecting information
We minimize the information accessed, use Apple's iOS permission and Keychain protections, and use encrypted connections for Google API requests. No system is completely secure, but the service is designed to avoid collecting personal content on our servers.
On-device cleanup candidates are retained only as needed for the active app experience. The locally stored Google OAuth token remains until you sign out or revoke access. Support correspondence is retained only as reasonably needed to respond and meet legal obligations.
07 — YOUR CHOICES
Permissions and control
- Manage photo, contact, calendar, reminder and Face ID permissions in iOS Settings.
- Choose which cleanup candidates to act on; you can leave any item unchanged.
- Sign out of Google Mail inside AI Cleanup to remove the locally stored OAuth token.
- Revoke Google access from your Google Account connections page.
- Contact us to ask about support information you previously provided.
08 — INTERNATIONAL & CHILDREN
General provisions
AI Cleanup is a general-purpose utility and is not directed to children. If local law gives you additional privacy rights, you may contact us to exercise them.
09 — UPDATES
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the product, legal requirements or data practices change. We will update the date at the top and provide additional notice when appropriate.
