Gmail access is optional. You can disconnect inside the app or revoke access from your Google Account whenever you choose.
Open Gmail Cleanup, choose “Sign in with Google,” review Google's consent screen and grant access.
Use the More menu and choose “Sign out of Google Mail.” This removes the OAuth token stored by AI Cleanup.
Open Google Account connections, select AI Cleanup and remove access.
AI Cleanup needs Gmail API permission to find the cleanup categories shown in the app and move messages you confirm to Trash. It requests gmail.modify because narrower read-only permissions cannot perform that user-requested move.
Google displays this warning while an app requesting Gmail access has not completed the applicable OAuth verification. Public access should be enabled only after the required review is complete.
No. AI Cleanup moves only selected and confirmed messages to Gmail Trash. Manage or recover those messages directly in Gmail.
Messages load in groups of 25 so the first results appear sooner and the app avoids unnecessary Gmail API requests.
Open iOS Settings, tap your Apple Account, then Subscriptions. Billing and cancellation are managed by Apple.
