GMAIL CLEANUP, EXPLAINED

A shorter path from full inbox to clear decisions.

Gmail access is used only to show cleanup candidates and carry out the action you confirm. Gmail data moves directly between Google and your iPhone, not through an AI Cleanup server.

    Connect

    Sign in through Google OAuth. AI Cleanup never receives your Google password.

    Review

    See Spam, Promotions and messages older than 90 days. The app loads metadata—not bodies or attachments.

    Choose

    Select individual messages or use multi-select. The decision remains yours.

  4. 04

    Clean

    After confirmation, selected messages move to Gmail Trash. AI Cleanup does not permanently delete them.

GOOGLE OAUTH TRANSPARENCY

One Gmail permission, for one visible feature.

Gmail connection is optional. AI Cleanup requests the narrowest permission that can display cleanup candidates and carry out your confirmed request to move a message to Trash.

Read-only access cannot move a selected message to Trash. AI Cleanup does not use this permission to send email, permanently delete messages, serve advertising or train AI models.

Does AI Cleanup read Gmail bodies?

No. It loads only the metadata needed to show cleanup candidates, such as subject, sender, date, size and Gmail labels.

Does the app permanently delete email?

No. Messages you select and confirm are moved to Gmail Trash, where Gmail's normal recovery and deletion rules apply.

Where is the Google token stored?

The OAuth token is stored in the iOS Keychain. Signing out inside AI Cleanup deletes the locally stored token.

Can I revoke access later?

Yes. Sign out inside AI Cleanup or revoke AI Cleanup from your Google Account connections at any time.
